Live To Inspire

     If I continued to believe the negative words that were spoken into my life, I would be dead and gone. You see, sometimes we allow our past and those who are no longer apart of our present to maintain power and control over our lives. I know this situation all to well.       But there came a time in my life where I had to challenge those negative thoughts that took root within me. I had to make an honest effort to war against the tyranny that I allowed to rage within my mind. I knew deep within that if I did not fight, the brokenness inside would continue to damage and destroy the essence of my soul. I began to challenge those thoughts by pressing into my heart that my mistakes and the wrongs done against me do not define my core self. I turned my attention to the thoughts that God had for me. I began to engage myself, something that I was not accustomed to doing because my focus was always geared toward what other people wanted and expected of me. ...

As I watched my little sister birth a new child into the world, it brought forth that which was hidden into the light. It caused her pain but when the process was complete, that pain was quickly forgotten as she looked upon her son. We too have things that we must birth into this world whether it be a spiritual gift, talent, or a new idea. We must continue to push so that what is within may be seen and shared amongst the world. What you have to offer could change a life, solve a problem, or simply make a process easier. Your current pain or feelings of discomfort are only temporary. It will have no comparison to the glory of your gift once it has been brought into the light. Be Encouraged.....
